Backing up to a cloud repository using Veeam Agent and Veeam SP Console. June, 2025
Login to the panel
• After purchasing a Veeam Cloud Connect license, you can access the Veeam SP Console via the link provided in the email or by using the Veeam SP Console button in the product details.

Log in using the details provided.

Veeam Agent Installation
Go to the Managed Computers tab and download using Donloads Management Agent.

Set your preferences and click Download

Run the downloaded installer and go through the installation process.




Enter any tag and confirm.

Confirm by clicking Restart, but do not restart your computer yet.

Wait for the installation process to complete, then restart your computer.

Creating a Backup Job
After restarting the computer, run the browser panel again and go to Managed Computers > Backup Agents, then select the Agent and click assign.

Select the appropriate backup policies and sign with the Assign buton.

Go to the Backup Jobs tab, select the agent, and then go to Create Job.

Choose how you want to perform the Backup Job.

Give a name

Select operating mode

Select the data you want to backup

Select Veeam Cloud Connect repository as destination.

Enter the access data received by email.

Select repository.

Choose whether to enable backup cache.

If you want, select the guest operating system processing options.

Set a backup schedule.

If everything is correct, finish creating the Backup Job.

File restore test
Create any test file you want to restore.

Select Back Job and run it using Start.

Wait for the backup process to finisz.

Delete test file.

In Veeam Agent, go to the main menu, select your Backup Job, and then Restore file.

Select a restore point and proceed.

Open restore point.

Find your file and then restore it using Restore and Keep (or Overwrite)

The deleted file should be returned to its place.
