Managing VPS Backups

VPS Backups

Your VPS plan includes a backup pool with a limited number of backup slots. You can create backups manually or set up automatic scheduling.

Creating a Backup Manually

  1. Go to ServicesCloud VPS → select your VPS
  2. Go to StorageBackups
  3. Click Create backup
  4. Wait for the backup to complete (you can leave the page)

Note: The number of available backup slots is shown next to the button (e.g., "3 Backup(s) left"). If you have a backup schedule configured, old backups will be overwritten automatically.

Deleting a Backup

If you've reached your backup limit and need to create a new one:

  1. Go to StorageBackups
  2. Find the backup you want to delete
  3. Click the ⚙️ icon and select Delete

Setting Up Automatic Backup Schedule

  1. Go to ServicesCloud VPS → select your VPS
  2. Go to StorageBackup schedule
  3. Click Create new schedule
  4. Configure the schedule:
    • Backup every — select days of the week
    • Time — choose backup time
    • Backups to keep — number of backups to retain
  5. Click Submit

Note: There is one schedule per VPS. When the limit is reached, the oldest backup will be replaced automatically.

Restoring from Backup

  1. Go to StorageBackups
  2. Find the backup you want to restore
  3. Click the ⚙️ icon and select Restore

⚠️ Warning: This will replace the current state of your VPS. All changes made after the backup will be lost.
