Managing VM Resources After Creation

You can modify your virtual machine configuration at any time using the action panels on the VM Overview page.

Scaling CPU and RAM

  1. Go to List Servers and click on your VM
  2. In the Actions bar, click Scale
  3. Adjust CPU Cores and RAM using the sliders or number inputs
  4. Click Apply

Note: The VM must be stopped before scaling. The cost difference is shown in real time next to each resource. Changes take effect immediately – start the VM when ready.

Adding a New Disk

  1. On the VM Overview page, click Storage in the Actions bar
  2. Click Add Disk
  3. Select the storage and enter the disk size in GB
  4. Confirm the operation

⚠️ Warning: This operation will reboot your VM.

Note: The new disk will need to be initialized and formatted inside the OS before use (e.g. using fdisk and mkfs on Linux, or Disk Management on Windows).

Expanding an Existing Disk

  1. On the VM Overview page, click Storage in the Actions bar
  2. Find the disk you want to expand and click Expand
  3. Enter the new size in GB (must be larger than the current size)
  4. Confirm the operation

⚠️ Warning: This operation will reboot your VM. Disk expansion is irreversible. The filesystem inside the VM may need to be resized manually depending on the OS.

Adding a Network Interface

  1. On the VM Overview page, click Network in the Actions bar
  2. Click Add Network Interface
  3. Select the network to connect to
  4. Click Add

After adding the interface, you can assign an IP address by clicking the Edit icon on the new interface row.

To add a public IP to your account, go to Resources & IP and click Add IP.

Removing a Network Interface

  1. On the VM Overview page, click Network in the Actions bar
  2. Find the interface you want to remove
  3. Click the Delete icon and confirm

Note: You cannot remove the primary network interface (net0).
